Cost is $440, with total due by February 23, 2018–Cash or checks payable to Garden Grove Unified School District. Payments may be made, and a suggested timeline is provided below. Students may also sell chocolates during the month of October to help raise money towards the cost of Outdoor Science School.

- 2nd Payment–$88 on November 28, 2017
- 3rd Payment–$88 on December 15, 2017
- 4th Payment–$88 on January 26, 2018
- 5th Payment–$88 on February 23, 2018
